Practical Applications of PPH-T03 Polypropylene Resin

     PPH-T03 is a homopolymer polypropylene (PPH) grade with an MFR of 3.0 g/10min (230℃, 2.16kg). It delivers outstanding tensile strength, stable extrusion performance and good chemical resistance. This grade is one of China’s most exported PP raw materials, widely accepted by buyers from Turkey, Egypt and other Middle East and North African markets for woven and injection-molded products.

     Its primary application is flat yarn and woven products. PPH-T03 is ideal for manufacturing woven sacks for cement, fertilizer, grain and agricultural goods. It can also produce jumbo bags (FIBC), plastic ropes and twines. The high tensile strength prevents flat yarn breakage during high-speed stretching, while good resistance to moisture and mild chemicals extends the service life of woven packages, which is critical for agricultural and bulk cargo transportation.

     Secondly, PPH-T03 is used for geotextiles and carpet backing. Geotextiles made from this resin are applied in road construction, land filling and water conservancy projects, offering stable reinforcement and anti-corrosion performance. As carpet backing fabric, it provides reliable structural support and dimensional stability for floor coverings.

Besides extrusion flat yarn, PPH-T03 can be processed by injection molding to make rigid daily consumer goods. Typical products include plastic stools, buckets, crates, hangers and general household rigid items. It has high stiffness and low creep, so finished parts keep stable shapes under normal load.

     In addition, PPH-T03 can be used for extruded sheets and simple rigid profiles. The consistent melt property supports continuous sheet extrusion, and the sheets can be further thermoformed into industrial trays and packaging liners.

     In summary, PPH-T03 balances mechanical strength and easy processing. It is a cost-effective all-round homopolymer PP grade, highly popular for woven packaging, civil plastic products and infrastructure textile applications for export markets.
