PP-TD20 / MD20

PP‑TD20 (20% talc‑filled polypropylene) and PP‑MD20 (20% general mineral‑filled polypropylene) are injection‑grade modified PP compounds. TD20 uses talc as the main mineral filler, while MD20 adopts composite mineral filler. Both grades are developed to overcome the high shrinkage and low rigidity of neat polypropylene, achieving balanced mechanical performance, heat resistance and cost competitiveness, widely popular for home appliance and automotive interior parts exported to Southeast Asia such as Malaysia.

Key Properties

• High stiffness and flexural modulus, much higher than unfilled PP, suitable for flat and large‑area plastic housings that need anti‑deformation performance

• Low mold shrinkage and low warpage, excellent dimensional stability, less sink marks after injection molding

• Improved heat deflection temperature, better thermal resistance under continuous heating conditions

• Good chemical resistance against acids, alkalis and most common cleaning agents

• Stable flowability for injection molding, good processability for complex molds

• RoHS compliant, available in natural, black or customized colors; UV‑stabilized and flame‑retardant versions are optional

• Compared with glass‑fiber reinforced PP, mineral filled PP delivers smoother surface and lower tool wear
