Practical Applications of PP K8003

PP K8003 is an impact copolymer polypropylene (PPB) resin with a melt flow rate of about 2.5 g/10min (230°C, 2.16kg). It balances excellent impact toughness and rigidity, features good low-temperature impact performance, stable processing property and great chemical resistance. This grade is mainly designed for injection molding and is one of the popular PP materials exported to Turkey and many other overseas markets.

The automotive sector is the largest consumption field for K8003. It is widely used to produce automotive interior and structural components, including door panels, glove boxes, armrests, instrument panel skeletons, wheel covers and battery housings. Its lightweight characteristic helps vehicle manufacturers reduce overall weight to save energy. Meanwhile, the material can resist impact collision during daily driving, and it maintains stable performance under varied temperature conditions.

In home appliances and power tools, K8003 serves for making outer shells and structural frames. Tool boxes, vacuum cleaner parts and washing machine internal brackets are typical products.
