FR-ABS DG-FR11H – Material Performance & Application Analysis

DG-FR11H is an injection-molding flame-retardant ABS resin developed by Tianjin Dagu Chemical, formulated to reach UL94 V-0 rating at 1.6 mm thickness, balancing flame resistance, moderate impact toughness and stable processing performance.

Key Performance

1. Flame retardancy: UL94 V-0 @1.6mm, low smoke density during combustion, suitable for electrical safety-compliant parts.

2. Mechanical properties: Medium impact strength, good tensile and flexural rigidity; maintains stable mechanical performance after long-term storage. It delivers balanced stiffness and toughness compared with general non-flame-retardant ABS.

3. Processing performance: Good melt flow, excellent mold release and low tendency to silver streaks, adapted for complex thin-wall injection molding. It can be easily colored and offers smooth surface finish.

4. Insulation & thermal property: Reliable electrical insulation, good heat resistance, stable dimension under continuous service temperature.

5. Limitations: Impact performance is lower than high-impact ABS grades; avoid long-term contact with strong polar solvents.
