Practical Applications of PP T30S Resin

     PP T30S is a classic homopolymer polypropylene (PPH) raffia grade with an MFR of around 3 g/10min (230℃, 2.16kg). It features stable melt flow, good tensile strength, excellent stretch orientation performance and low ash content. This grade is one of the most exported PP raw materials from China to Egypt, Turkey and many Middle East markets, widely used for flat yarn extrusion production.

     Its dominant application is woven sacks for bulk commodity packaging. Flat yarn extruded from T30S can be woven into strong woven bags for packing cement, fertilizer, grains, salt, sugar and feed. The finished woven bags have good tear resistance and moisture resistance, suitable for heavy-load storage and long-distance transportation. This is the biggest demand in agricultural and construction industries in the Middle East.

     Another key application is FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers), also known as jumbo bags or ton bags. The base fabric of FIBC is made from T30S flat yarn. The material delivers high tensile strength to hold large volumes of mineral powder, plastic pellets and agricultural products, meeting the strict load requirements for logistics and bulk handling.

     PP T30S is also used to produce plastic ropes, twines and strapping tapes. The stretched PP filament offers high breaking strength and good weather resistance, widely used for farm bundling, cargo binding and daily tying work. Besides, it can make carpet backing fabric, providing stable base support for floor carpets.

     In civil engineering, T30S is selected for PP geotextiles. The woven geotextile has good corrosion resistance and water permeability, applied in road construction, water conservancy and land improvement projects for separation, filtration and reinforcement.

     Additionally, T30S can produce shade cloth and tarpaulin base fabric for agriculture. These woven fabrics block strong sunlight and protect crops, which is popular in arid regions.

     Overall, PP T30S is a cost-effective raffia-grade PP. With reliable extrusion stability and balanced mechanical performance, it remains the preferred raw material for woven product manufacturers in Egypt, Turkey and the Middle East.
