We first considered the high-performance standard - long-term use temperature 150°C (>20,000 hrs). Some materials that meet the requirements include: PEI&TPI, PPS, PEEK, PET, LCP, PPA, etc.
3. CTI>2:
If it is required to meet the condition of CTI level 0 electrical performance at the same time, you can see that LCP, PEI, PPS and other specifications do not meet the requirements.
Considering that the long-term use temperature of the product is 80°C, the 150°C evaluation time is shortened (less than 10,000hrs), and high heat-resistant aliphatic PA reinforcement materials can also be considered at low cost.
Opening the physical property table, you can see that the tensile strength of 150Mpa and CTI 600V meet the requirements; in terms of heat resistance, you can see that at 170°C & 5000 hours, the material performance has almost no decrease, and it can be used as a low-cost solution.
